Really Overdue 2010 D-League Draft Review
31st: - New Mexico Thunderbirds - Anthony Richardson, Florida State Richardson, a one time Hornet signing, is an athletic forward who graduated from Florida State in 2005. Since that time, he has done the rounds in Europe, most recently spending the last two years with Dutch team Eiffel Towers Den Bosch. The Dutch league isn't very good, but Richardson was a good player in it, averaging 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals last season whilst also being named to the All-Star game. However, Richardson's time in Holland did not end well. He is now embroiled in a bitter dispute with the team over outstanding money, as is the team's former coach, Sharone Wright. The comments on that post for the most part don't support his viewpoint; nevertheless, the unpleasant reality is that this sort of thing happens a lot.
