Ruffin signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder for training camp, which meant that for a brief time, him, Kevin Ollie and Ryan Bowen were on the same team. Ruffin didn't make the cut, though, and then returned to Spain for the first time in 7 years when he signed a six week contract with Manresa. In 8 games, Ruffin averaged 21.6 minutes, 2.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.1 assists, 2.4 fouls, 1.6 blocks and 1.9 steals per game.
