THIS is the new ShamSports.com blog for worldwide (i.e. not American) basketball.

This is this blog's first post. It also might be its last.

OK, so I'm exaggerating. This blog exists for a purpose, and that purpose is to blog about worldwide basketball. It seems so simple when you put it like that.

The purpose of the website as a whole is to make me look brilliant, and to provide a vehicle for demonstrating the wide expanse of world basketball knowledge that I spend my entire unemployed life trying to expand and reproduce. While the site is NBA based, a large part of knowing about the NBA is knowing about the players that aren't in it. (That makes sense, in a way.) This blog is designed to help with that, and in my eyes the seperation of this fromt he main homepage blog is entirely unnecessarily. You might not agree, but you'd be wrong. I think. Maybe. We'll see.

Therefore, the "Where are they now?" posts, originally on the NBA blog, will henceforth and forthwith be found on here, along with anything else that I choose to ramble on about. Adjust your lifestyle accordingly.
