"He's fat, lazy and selfish, but other than that, he's perfect." - Unnamed Eastern Conference scout on Eddy Curry.

Yao Ming: Drafted 1st overall in 2002. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a maximum value five year extension to this in September 2005. Contract has 15% trade kicker.

Kevin Martin: Drafted 26th overall in 2004. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year, $53,000,025 extension in September 2007. I do not understand the purpose of the $25.

Shane Battier: Drafted 6th overall in 2001. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 6 year, $36,772,500 extension in July 2004. Contract contains $75,000 annually in performance incentives currently listed as "likely."

Jared Jeffries: Signed a 5 year offer sheet with New York for the full value of the MLE ($30.247 million) in August 2006. Washington did not match. Contract had 15% trade kicker that was added upon his trade to Houston in February 2010.

Trevor Ariza: Signed a five year contract for the full value of the Yao Ming Disabled Player Exception ($33,953,200) in July 2009.

Brian Cook: Drafted 24th overall in 2003. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a three year extension for $10.5 million in October 2006. Waived in February 2010.

Luis Scola: Signed a 3 year, $9,302,000 million contract in July 2007.

Hilton Armstrong: Drafted 12th overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Jordan Hill: Drafted 8th overall in 2009. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

David Andersen: Signed a 3 year, $7,500,000 contract in July 2009. Last year is only $185,185 guaranteed, rising to fully guaranteed if he's not waived on or before 15th August 2011.

Chuck Hayes: Re-signed to a 4 year contract starting at $1.75 million in August 2007. Contract contains performances incentives, some of which are considered likely, and some of which aren't. Contract is a right bastard to calculate - it totals $6,945,000 without the incentives, $8,218,250 with them all, and anywhere in between if he meets some but not all. Currently listed with maximum incentives.

Kyle Lowry: Drafted 24th overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Aaron Brooks: Drafted 26th overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Brent Barry: Signed to a two year contract for the value of the full BAE ($3,972,800) in July 2008. Second year fully unguaranteed, but will become 50% guaranteed if Barry plays in at least 20 games in 2008/09 (both regular and post seasons), and 100% guaranteed if he plays in at least 40. Low targets, them. Bought out in October 2009 for a $1 million saving on the second year.

Jermaine Taylor: Signed a four year, $3,332,457 contract in August 2009. Final two years are fully unguaranteed. 2011/12 season is fully unguaranteed if Taylor is waived on or before August 1st 2011. 2012/13 season is fully unguaranteed if Taylor is waived on or before August 1st 2012. There's also a team option on the last year, which has to be considered one of the most pointless team options since LeBron James's fourth year.

Chase Budinger: See above. Taylor. All of it.

Mike Harris: Signed a prorated one year minimum salary contract in December 2009. Waived in January.

Will Conroy: Signed a 10 day contract in January 2010.

Garrett Temple: Signed to two 10 day contracts in February 2010.
