in July 2009. Contract contains 15% trade kicker. The $200,000 saving in
the final year is not a typo.
Jose Calderon: Signed a 3 year, $6.5 million contract in August 2005.
Qualifying offer extended in June 2008. Re-signed in July 2008. Contract
contains a 10% trade kicker.
Andrea Bargnani: Drafted 1st overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a five year, $50 million extension
in July 2009. The extension amount contains performance incentives and a
5% trade kicker.
Jarrett Jack: Signed a 4 year, $20 million offer sheet with Toronto
in July 2009. Not matched.
Reggie Evans: Re-signed to a 5 year contract for $23 million in September
2006, with full raises until the final year where a $200,000 saving is in
place for no real reason.
Marcus Banks: Signed a 5 year, $21.3 million contract in July 2006.
Amir Johnson: Signed to a minimum salary contract in August 2005.
Qualifying offer extended in June 2007. Re-signed to a 3 year, $11,000,001
contract in July 2007. The $1 was a deal breaker. Contract contained a 15%
trade kicker, which I initially typoed before nailing it on the second attempt.

scale contract for that year.
Rasho Nesterovic: Signed a one year contract in July 2009.
Antoine Wright: Re-signed to a 2 year, $3.6 million contract in July
2008.
Marco Belinelli: Drafted 18th overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Patrick O'Bryant: Signed a two year minimum salary contract in July
2008. First year is fully guaranteed - second year is only $500,000 guaranteed
if O'Bryant is waived within the first 48 hours of the end of the team's
2008/09 season.
Sonny Weems: Signed to a three year minimum salary contract in September
2008. Second year $174,284 guaranteed until August 15th 2009, when it becomes
fully guaranteed. Last year fully unguaranteed.
Pops Mensah-Bonsu: Signed a minimum salary contract in September
2009. Waived in January.
Quincy Douby: Signed a minimum salary contract for the remainder
of the season and through 2010 in March 2009. Waived in November. |
