scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year, $42.35 million extension
in September 2007.
Tony Battie: Drafted 5th overall in 1997. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a 6 year, $25 million extension in
October 1999. Signed a further 4 year, $22.984 million extension in March
2006, which dipped in value in the second year (2007/08) to facilitate the
Magic's plan to have cap room in the 2007 offseason. Because he is a gallant
and noble human. And because he's kidding himself if he thinks he'd get
more than that elsewhere. Contract contains performance bonuses listed as
"unlikely." Trade kicker of $314,600 added to each of the final
two years of the contract after trade to New Jersey in June 2009.
Rafer Alston: Signed a six year, $26.25 million contract with Toronto
in August 2004. Only 50% million of the final year guaranteed unless Alston
is active for 70 or more games in the 2008/09 season. Contract contains
performance bonuses currently listed as "unlikely." Bought out
in January 2010; buyout amount not listed because I don't know what it is
yet.

full BAE ($3,972,800) in July 2008.

Chris Quinn: Signed to a two year minimum salary contract in July
2006. $75,000 guaranteed. Second year is unguaranteed until July 20th. Qualifying
offer extended in June 2008. Accepted a deal starting at the value of the
QO, but with a second season attatched.

in July 2008 that may or may not pay more than the minimum in the first
