Vince Carter: Re-signed to a 5 year, $79,994,750 contract
in July 2007. Final year is only $4 million guaranteed until June 30th 2011.
Heh, "only" 4 million.
Dwight Howard: Drafted 1st overall in 2004. Signed to rookie
salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year max extension ($83,235,900)
in July 2007.
Jameer Nelson: Drafted 20th overall in 2004. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year, $38 million extension in
October 2007. Contract contains performance bonuses that are currently listed
as "likely" and which have added $500,000 to the contract annually.
Marcin Gortat: Signed a two year minimum salary contract in August
2007. Second year 25% guaranteed until July 31st 2008. Signed a five year
offer sheet with the Mavericks for the full value of the mid level exception
($33,953,200) in July 2009. Matched later that month.
Mickael Pietrus: Signed a 4 year, $21.2 million contract in July
2008, for the value of the full MLE in the first year, albeit only worth
the full MLE when performance bonuses are listed as "likely".
Right now, they aren't.
Brandon Bass: Signed a 4 year, $16 million contract in July 2009.
Contract contains performance bonuses currently listed as "unlikely."
J.J. Redick: Drafted 11th overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Anthony Johnson: Signed a two year contract for the value of the
full BAE ($3,972,800) in July 2008.
Matt Barnes: Signed a two year, $3.2 million contract in July 2009.
Ryan Anderson: Drafted 21st overall in 2008. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Jason Williams: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in August
2009. Williams is actually being paid $1,306,455, the minimum salary for
a ten or more year veteran, but as his minimum salary contract is only for
one year and he has more than two years of experience, the team is only
billed an amount equal to the minimum salary of a two year vet. The league
pays the rest.
Adonal Foyle: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September
2009. Same as Williams.
Linton Johnson: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September
2009. Same as Williams, except Johnson is a six year veteran, so he's getting
$1,107,572 instead. Waived after 2 days of the season. |
