"Big boys don?t cry. But, if you?re going to do it, do it in the toilet where no one can see." - Phil Jackson

Chris Paul: Drafted 4th overall in 2005. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a maximum 4 year extension in July 2008.

Peja Stojakovic: Signed a 5 year, $62.64 million contract in July 2006. Has 10% trade kicker.

Emeka Okafor: Drafted 2nd overall in 2004. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Re-signed to a 6 year, $72 million contract in August 2008. Contract contains $300,000 worth of annual bonuses currently listed as "likely."

David West: Drafted 18th overall in 2003. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year extension worth roughly $45 million in October 2006.

James Posey: Signed a 4 year contract for the value of the full MLE in July 2008. Contract has 10% trade kicker.

Morris Peterson: Signed a 4 year, $22.4 million contract in July 2007. Contract contains performance bonuses, which are a bit confusing. The contract without incentives calls for a salary structure of $5,000,000 in the first year with $400,000 annual raises; however, it contains incentives that could boost its value to $5,356,000 in the first year (the full value of the MLE in the year he signed), still with $400,000 raises. Currently, all are considered "unlikely."

Darius Songaila: Signed a 5 year, $21.17 million contract in July 2006. Contract contains performance bonuses currently listed as "unlikely."

Julian Wright: Drafted 13th overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Darren Collison: Drafted 21st overall in 2009. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Aaron Gray: Signed to a two year minimum salary contract in July 2007. Qualifying offer extended in June 2009. Accepted in September.

Ike Diogu: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in July 2009. Diogu is actually being paid $884,881, the minimum salary for a four year veteran, but as his minimum salary contract is only for one year and he has more than two years of experience, the team is only billed an amount equal to the minimum salary of a two year vet. The league pays the rest.

Sean Marks: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September 2009. Same as Diogu, except Marks is a tean year or more veteran so he's getting $1,306,455.

Marcus Thornton: Signed a two year minimum salary contract in July 2009.

Jason Hart: Signed a 10 day contract in February 2010.
