"I'd rather tongue-kiss a maggot than listen to that." - Monty Williams, after Quincy Pondexter sang Happy Birthday to him.

Jermaine O'Neal: Re-signed to a 7 year, $123 million contract in July 2003.

Dwyane Wade: Drafted 5th overall in 2003. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 4 year max extension ($60,308,986) in July 2006.

Quentin Richardson: Signed a 6 year, $45 million contract in July 2004. Contract is not insured. Trade kicker added to each guaranteed year after trade to New York in whatever month it was.

Udonis Haslem: Re-signed a 5 year, $30.1 million contract in August 2005. Contract boosted by $10,000 a year due to a "summer development" bonus, whatever that is.

Michael Beasley: Drafted 2nd overall in 2008. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

James Jones: Signed for 5 years and $23.2 million in July 2008. Contract boosted by $10,000 a year due to a "summer development" bonus, whatever that is. Contract has a 15% trade kicker. Final three years are only partially guaranteed ($1,856,000, $1,984,000, and $2,112,000 respectively) but become fully guaranteed if Jones is not waived on or before 6/30/2010.

Dorell Wright: Drafted 19th overall in 2004. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year. Re-signed for two years and $5.5 million in August 2008.

Daequan Cook: Drafted 21st overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary scale contract for that year.

Yakhouba Diawara: Signed a two year, $1.82 million salary contract in August 2008.

Jamaal Magloire: Re-signed to a one year minimum salary contract in July 2009. Magloire is actually being paid $1,187,686, the minimum salary for a nine year year veteran, but as his minimum salary contract is only for one year and he has more than two years of experience, the team is only billed an amount equal to the minimum salary of a two year vet. The league pays the rest.

Carlos Arroyo: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in October 2009. Same as Magloire, except Arroyo is a 7 year veteran, so he's getting $1,107,572 instead.

Joel Anthony: Re-signed to a two year minimum salary contract in July 2009.

Mario Chalmers: Signed a three year minimum salary contract in July 2008 which pays more than the minimum in the first and second years, which means that when I called it a three year minimum salary contract just now, I told something of an untruth. Sorry about that. Contract contains performance bonuses currently listed as "likely".

Rafer Alston Signed a prorated one year minimum salary contract in January 2010.

Shavlik Randolph: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September 2009. Waived in December.
