Baron
Davis: Signed a 5 year, $65 million contract in July 2008. $2.5 million
of the final year is unguaranteed, for no real reason. Contract has performance
bonuses listed as "unlikely".
Chris Kaman: Drafted 6th overall in 2003. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year extension worth $52 million
in October 2006. Contract has performance bonuses listed as "unlikely",
and a trade kicker for the lesser of 15% or $4,000,000.
Blake Griffin: Drafted 1st overall in 2009. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Drew Gooden: Signed a one year contract in July 2009. Only $1.9 million
is guaranteed, strangely. Contract contains $1.125 million in performance
bonuses currently listed as "unlikely." Had a 5% trade kicker
in it that kicked in after his trade to Washington.
Steve Blake: Signed a three year, $12.5 million contract in July
2007. Final season is completely unguaranteed if waived before June 30th
2009.
Rasual Butler: Re-signed to a 4 year, $13.89 million contract in
August 2006. Contract contains performance bonuses currently listed as "unlikely."
Travis Outlaw: Drafted 23rd overall in 2003. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Re-signed for 3 years and $11.6 million in
July 2007. Final season is completely unguaranteed if waived before June
30th 2009.
Mark Madsen: Re-signed to a 5 year, $11.05 million contract in August
2005. Bought out of the final year's alary of $2,840,000 in August 2009.
Eric Gordon: Drafted 7th overall in 2008. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Ricky Davis: Signed a 2 year, $4.7 million contract in July 2008.
Waived in February.
Craig Smith: Signed to a two year minimum salary contract in August
2006. Second year is unguaranteed until August 1st, then $100,000 guaranteed
after that, going up to $350,000 if he makes the opening night roster, and
fully guaranteed as of December 1st. Qualifying offer extended in June 2008.
Re-signed for 2 years and $4.8 million in July 2008.
Mardy Collins: Drafted 29th overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Steve Novak: Signed to a three year minimum salary contract in July
2006. First year is slightly more than the minimum. Qualifying offer extended
in June 2009. Re-signed for a contract that paid all of $821 more than the
QO. No real reason why.
Brian Skinner: Re-signed to a one year minimum salary contract in
September 2009. Wallace is actually being paid $1,306,455, the minimum salary
for a ten or more year veteran, but as his minimum salary contract is only
for one year and he has more than two years of experience, the team is
only billed an amount equal to the minimum salary of a two year vet. The
league pays the rest.
Kareem Rush: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September
2009. Same situation as Skinner, except Rush is a 7 year veteran, so he's
getting $1,107,572 instead. Waived in January.
DeAndre Jordan: Signed a three year minimum salary contract in July
2008. Salaries paid more in the first year because they could. Final year
fully unguaranteed if waived on or before 8/1/2010.
Bobby Brown: Signed a two year minimum salary contract in July 2008,
as is his perogative. That joke will hopefully never appear again.
JamesOn Curry: Signed a 10 day contract in January 2010. |
