Marcus
Camby: Re-signed to a 6 year, $55 million contract in July 2004. Contract
has incentives in it for games played, that can add up to $2 million annually
to the value of the contract. Currently listed with 75% of the incentives
considered "likely."
Darius Miles: Re-signed to a frontloaded 6 year, $48 million
contract in August 2004.
Joel Przybilla: Re-signed to a 5 year contract for a contract starting
at the full value of the MLE in year one ($5.215 million) but which, because
of his early Bird status, allowed for 10.5% annual raises, which he received
in full, in July 2006. Jesus, that sentence got long. And very sloppy. Contract
has 15% trade kicker.
Andre Miller: Signed a three year, $21,807,792 contract in July 2009.
Not sure of the need for the funky figure. Final fully unguaranteed if waived on or before June 29th 2011. It is essentially a team option.
LaMarcus Aldridge: Drafted 2nd overall in 2006. Signed to rookie
salary scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year, $65 million extension
in October 2009. Contract contains $500,000 in annual incentives currently
listed as "unlikely."
Greg Oden: Drafted 1st overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary scale
contract for that year.
Martell Webster: Drafted 6th overall in 2005. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a 4 year, $20,112,000 extension in
October 2008. Final year is only $600,000 guaranteed until July 1st 2012,
thus making a total of $15 million guaranteed.
Brandon Roy: Drafted 6th overall in 2006. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year. Signed a 5 year maximum contract extension
in August 2009, the values of which are not yet known exactly because the
maximum salary for the 2010/11 season has not been calculated yet (and won't
be until the 2010 moratorium). In the mean time, the 2009/10 maximum salary
is used instead. Contract contains a trade kicker for the lesser of $4,000,000
or 15%. The final year is only 75% guaranteed, but becomes fully guaranteed
if any one of the following happens:
1) The team obtains a permanent total disability insurance policy of at
least $17,000,000 from an insurance company with an AM Best financial strength
rating of A- or better.
2) The team secures insurance coverage under the NBA TTD Program.
3) The team wins the NBA Championship in any of the following seasons: 2009-10,
2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, or 2013-14.
4) Roy is selected to the NBA All-Star team in at least three of the following
seasons: 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, or 2013-14.
5) During the 2013-14 season, Roy plays in at least 55 of the teams
regular season games.
6) During the 2013-14 season, Roy's team makes the playoffs and Roy plays
in 80% of teams playoff games.
Jerryd Bayless: Drafted 11th overall in 2008. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Rudy Fernandez: Drafted 24th overall in 2007. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for 2008, the year in which he signed. Cos that's how it
works, you see.
Nicolas Batum: Drafted 25th overall in 2008. Signed to rookie salary
scale contract for that year.
Juwan Howard: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in September
2009. Howard is actually being paid $1,306,455, the minimum salary for a
ten or more year veteran, but as his minimum salary contract is only for
one year and he has more than two years of experience, the team is only
billed an amount equal to the minimum salary of a two year vet. The league
pays the rest.
Jeff Pendergraph: Signed a three year minimum salary contract in
September 2009. First year is fully guaranteed. Second year fully unguaranteed,
but becomes fully guaranteed if:
a) Pendergraph plays in 10 or more regular season games in 2009/10
b) Pendergraph plays in at least 50% of the team's postseason games in 2009/10
c) Pendergraph is not waived on or before July 25th 2010.
Third year is also fully unguaranteed, becoming fully guaranteed if:
a) Pendergraph plays in 41 or more regular season games in 2010/11
b) Pendergraph is not waived on or before June 30th 2011.
Dante Cunningham: Signed a fully guaranteed two year minimum salary
contract in September 2009.
Patrick Mills: Signed a one year minimum salary contract in October
2009.
Anthony Tolliver: Signed for the remainder of the season in December
2009. Waived later that month.
Shavlik Randolph: Signed for the remainder of the season in December
2009. Waived in January.
Shavlink Randolph: Signed a ten day contract in January 2010.
