Who Did What On June 30th
Lots tends to happen on June 30th. It's a big day. Personally, I had a bath, quite a nice pork chop for dinner, and traced the weird smell in this room down to an old packet of sandwiches that wasn't in the bin but just behind it. And here is what some NBA teams did.

Most importantly, Michael Sweetney is not dead.
Oh and Detroit, you just overpaid. Twice. And as for Zach Randolph......I stand by this
Full summer league rosters soon.

"Crawford had to opt in as a concurrent part of the trade" What if he had chosen not to and decided to go into free agency? Or was it in his contract or something?
You can make trades between the day your season ends and July 1st, but you can't trade players that will be free agents in the upcoming summer, or who could be via an option. So, to be traded to the Hawks, Crawford had to decline his ETO as a part of the deal. If he didn't, he couldn't have been traded. The same thing happened to Etan Thomas.
How does it feel to be a Bulls fan? Gordon is gone and maybe that Deng money should have been given to Gordon.
Meh. Better to overpay only one guy than it is two.
