Michael Doleac takes a college job

Salt Lake Tribune, a while ago: former NBA big man Michael Doleac to go back to school.

Michael Doleac, one of the most successful and prolific players in University of Utah basketball history, is returning to the Utes to join coach Jim Boylen's staff as a graduate manager.

Boylen said Doleac will play a limited role in the "support position" that typically involves administrative and behind-the-scenes duties, but "we're thankful that he wants to be part of what we're building and excited about it."

Doleac plans to work toward an advanced degree at the university -- he has said he wants to become a doctor -- while learning the coaching ropes under Boylen.

No further questions your honour.

Michael Doleac wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Figures, his dad is my dentist. Well, he’s not mine but you know what I mean.
