October 1999: Arrested at Logan International Airport for disorderly conduct. Was arguing with his girlfriend in the parking lot, and after police were called, he was arrested after refusing to leave.
 
July 2004: Arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest after kicking up a stink when being refused entry to a nightclub on the grounds that he was too drunk. Potapenko wasn't co-operative with police - when asked to write down his phone number, he wrote "Supersonics".
