February 2003: Arrested for "interfering with a government function" after being the passanger of a car that police attempted to stop for driving erratically before it sped off. Upomn ditching the car, Banks and the other passengers tried to run off, but were caught. Suspended for 4 games by his high school, and was fined $100 in criminal court, with $50 in court costs.
July 2003: Arrested cnd charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child, after using a lighted cigarette to burn a gang insignia into the leg of a 15-year-old girl in a gang initiation rite.Released after posting $5,000 bail.
February 2004: There was a marijuana possession charge, the details of which I don't have.
Suspended permanently from college for numerous rule violations, including fighting, no-shows, general passiveness on the court, diva-ish behaviour, ignoring his coaches orders and other unspecified stuff. He also had failing grades and was ruled ineligible anyway.
