1996-1997: Took loans to the tune of $105,000 from some guy named Ed Martin, who was loaning the money to University of Michigan stars in order to launder it, for it came from his illegal gambling operation. No charges brought against Taylor himself, but school faced heavy sanctions and now has to act like Taylor never existed, until 2012.
