September 16th 2007: Arrested and charged with disarming a police officer, simple assault, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after a scuffle outside a nightclub. Fields turned up drunk to a 18-to-21 night at the club (which meant the place had no alcohol in it), and was asked to leave several times. Eventually, police were called. Fields argued with the police, then with some random man in the street, and was ordered to stop swearing. He didn't, allegedly made a grab for an officer's gun (for some bizarre reason) and was tasered. After being taken to hospital, he was then jailed and released the next day. Charges for all but the simple assault were dropped, in exchange for Fields spending nine months in an Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program and performing 50 hours of community service; if he completed the program without incident, his record would be expunged. Presumably, that's what happened.
