Ksistof Lavrinovic

1998: Ksistof and his twin brother Darjus, along with a third man (a cousin called Andrei Borodkin), were all accused of rape by a woman named Natalija. They were convicted and sentenced to five years in prison. Bizarrely, during the duo's appeals process (which was later rejected), Natalija retracted her statement, claimed the sex was consensual, and then married Darjus, amid unsubstantiated claims that she was paid to do so by the Lavrinovic twins's father. The appeal was nevertheless rejected, and Natalija herself was later tried for perjury, receiving a year's probation.
