September 5th 2007: Arrested and charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, a misdemeanor which carries a fine from $100 to $250. Charges dropped when two of his friends (who were also arrested) signed an affidavit claiming the weed was theirs.
 
28th February, 2011: Arrested for possession of more than a kilogram of marijuana. Reed and his friend (who went by the amazingly fitting name of Mario Jointer) were pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt early in the afternoon, at which point Jointer took off with a large bag full of marijuana. Jointer and the bag were eventually recovered, as was more than $25,000 in cash. The pair were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
