Javaris Crittenton

Guard

24th December 2009: It emerged that Crittenton and team mate Gilbert Arenas had had a stand-off of sorts with two guns (loadedness arguable) in the locker room, a violation of about 146 laws. Pled guilty in January 2010 to a misdemeanor gun charge and received a year of unsupervised probation.

August 2011: An arrest warrant was issued for Crittenton after a woman was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on August 19th. Arrested at an airport two weeks later; four weeks after that, was released from jail on a $230,000 bond, despite the objections of prosecutors who claimed that if released, Crittenton would intimidate the witnesses. Allegedly, the shooting occurred in an attempted retaliation after Crittenton had been robbed of $55,000 of jewellry in April, but the victim was merely an innocent bystander.
