January 4th 2010: Arrested and charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and underage drinking. Pope was found unconsicous behind the wheel of a still-running car; when awoken, he lurched the car forward into the arresting officer, who smashed open the window to turn the car off. Suspended for a game by New Mexico State.
