Rather amusing, 15th December 2005: Cited with a class C violation for lying
to police after a (you guessed it) early morning altercation at a club.
A Denver Nuggets fan with the awesome name of Affan Arslanagic (which sounds
more like a suppository) started having a go at Williams and Jazz team mate
Robert Whaley in a club, eventually throwing a bottle at them. All three
got thrown out, but the fight continued in the street. When police arrived,
Whaley said that his name was "Bobby Williams," and Williams said his name
was "Torrey Ellis". |

| October 2006: Accused of rape, along with then-team mates Dee Brown, Ronnie Brewer and Paul Millsap. The four went out to a strip club while on the road at a Portland hotel, and picked up the accuser. They took back to the hotel - stopping on the way so that Brewer could buy condoms - whereupon the accuser claimed she wanted to have sex with two of the players at the same time. About 40 minutes after being spotted entering the hotel with the four, the accuser was found in an elevator, naked and creaming, claiming she had been drugged and raped by three of the players (she didn't say which). She was also pass-out drunk. When questioned, Brown said he had not been with the other three, and had instead gone to his room to play computer games. Williams claimed he left the room after the girl began crying uncontrollably and talking about previous rapes she had suffered, and Millsap said he followed soon afterwards. Brewer - whose room they were all in - also decided she was too drunk to have sex with, and was similarly perturbed by all the crying, so he claims he did not touch her, and offered to let him stay in his bed, separated from him by a dividing line of pillows. Charges were dropped the following January when the accuser stopped co-operating. | ||
