17th September 2009: After being pulled over for an unsafe lane change while riding a three wheel motorcycle, West was found to be in possession of two handguns, a Bowie knife, and a shotgun with 116 shells. That's quite hard to do on a three wheel motor cycle. Arrested and charged with six counts; one for possession of each weapon, and one count each of reckless driving and negligent driving. Pleaded guilty to pleaded guilty to possession of the knife, as well as illegally transporting a handgun. Sentenced to 8 months home detention, two months of probation and 40 hours of community service. Also suspended for 10 games by the NBA.
